About Accrete D3 Tablets

Accrete D3 chewable tablets are used to prevent and treat vitamin D and calcium deficiency. Each Accrete D3 chewable tablet contains 1000mg of calcium and 880IU of vitamin D. These ingredients are crucial for maintaining the health of your bones. This is particularly important in older patients who are looking to avoid conditions like osteoporosis, but meeting the recommended threshold of vitamin D is important for people of all ages.

Accrete D3 Tablets Information

  • How do Accrete D3 Tablets work?

While you can get vitamin D from exposure to sunlight and through your diet, the winter months can make it hard to get enough. Each Accrete D3 chewable tablet contains 1000mg of calcium and 880IU of vitamin D to address this problem. Regular consumption will help you stay topped-up to protect your bones and teeth.

What’s the difference between Accrete D3 tablets and other vitamin D supplements?

Accrete D3 combines vitamin D with calcium. Calcium is key for maintaining the structure and strength of your bones and teeth. This makes Accrete D3 especially beneficial for those of an advanced age, as older bones are generally weaker and can break more easily.

    Alternatives to Accrete D3

Accrete D3 is an approved calcium and vitamin D3 supplement for anyone who’s struggling to absorb enough calcium and vitamin D through their diet and lifestyle, and it’s sufficiently safe and convenient that there’s no strong reason to consider alternatives.
If you’d rather not take any supplement for your vitamin D deficiency, you can address it by making dietary changes and getting more exposure to natural sunlight. For more information on this, visit the NHS website.

  • How do I take Accrete D3 tablets?

Each Accrete D3 tablet is orange-flavoured and chewable, making it easy to consume with or without an accompanying drink. You should take 1 tablet per day, or half a tablet if you’re pregnant.

Note: you shouldn’t use Accrete D3 unless you’re sure you have decreased levels of calcium and vitamin D3, as taking unnecessary supplements can damage your kidneys.

Please speak to a doctor or pharmacist if you’re concerned about your calcium or vitamin D intake and absorption before taking Accrete D3. If you decide to take this supplement, please do not exceed the recommended dosage.

  • Accrete D3 ingredients

The active ingredients in Accrete D3 are Calcium and Colecalciferol (vitamin D).

  • Is Accrete D3 safe for me to use?

As both vitamin D and calcium are crucial for our bodies to function normally, there are very few risks associated with the use of Accrete D3 when taken as advised. However, we would strongly recommend against the use of this supplement if you:

    • Have increased excretion of calcium with your urine (hypercalciuria)
