What is E45 Cream?
E45 emollient cream is a non-greasy moisturising treatment for dry, itchy skin. It offers fast-acting relief from dry skin conditions including eczema, dermatitis, dry psoriasis and sunburn.
This product is fragrance-free and dermatologically tested for the treatment of children and adults over the age of 1 month.
What is E45 Cream used for?
E45 Cream is suitable for the treatment of conditions that cause dry to very dry skin. It has been clinically proven to help moisturise and soothe irritated skin affected by:
- Eczema
- Dermatitis
- Dry Psoriasis
- Sunburn
- Dry/flaky/itchy skin
How does E45 Cream work?
This product is categorised as an emollient cream. These creams are absorbed quickly by the skin, adding extra moisture. They also create a protective film over the skin that traps moisture keeping it hydrated for longer.
E45 Cream warnings
- Speak to a doctor before using this product if you are currently or have recently stopped taking any other prescribed or non-prescribed medication.
- Wait at least 30 minutes before applying E45 Cream if you are using any other skin treatment such as a corticosteroid cream.
- This product contains paraffin which may be flammable. You should avoid naked flames or smoking while using this cream.
E45 Cream - Pregnancy & Breastfeeding
You should always speak to a doctor or pharmacist before using any new products while pregnant or breastfeeding.
E45 Cream dosage
For best results, E45 Cream should be applied 2 - 3 times a day to the affected areas of skin. Applying this cream directly after bathing will help lock more moisture into the skin.
If you do not notice an improvement to the condition of your skin or it worsens while using this product you should speak to a doctor for further advice.
E45 Cream ingredients
E45 Cream contains active ingredients: White Soft Paraffin, Light Liquid Paraffin, Anhydrous Lanolin
E45 Cream also contains the inactive ingredients: Glyceryl Monostearate, Cetyl Alcohol, Sodium Cetostearyl Sulphate, Carbomer, Methyl Hydroxybenzoate (E218), Propyl Hydroxybenzoate (E216), Sodium Hydroxide, Citric Acid Monohydrate, Purified Water.
E45 Cream side effects
Side effects are extremely rare when using E45 Cream. If your skin becomes more irritated, red or itchy or you develop a rash while using this product you should stop using it straight away and speak to a doctor for advice if symptoms do not improve.
