Dermol 600 Bath Emollient information
What is Dermol 600 Bath Emollient and what is it used for?
Dermol 600 is a moisturising bath emollient that can be used instead of regular bath soap. Dermol moisturises and protects the skin against irritating conditions such as eczema and dermatitis. Unlike some soaps, Dermol 600 doesn't remove your body’s natural oils. This means that your skin can retain its moisture and stop it from drying out.
Aside from maintaining your skin's moisture levels, Dermol 600 acts as an antiseptic, helping to keep scaly and itchy skin at bay.
Acting as both an antimicrobial and an emollient, Dermol 600 can be easily integrated into your normal washing routine. And it’s even safe for the kids to use. Dermol can be used as both a treatment and a preventative measure for skin conditions such as eczema and dermatitis.
How does Dermol 600 Bath Emollient work?
Dermol bath emollient contains two types of active ingredients, benzalkonium chloride (an antimicrobial that helps to combat bacteria present on the skin) and liquid paraffin and isopropyl (emollients which help to hydrate and protect your skin). These ingredients work together to form a protective barrier over your skin, promoting healing underneath. When used regularly, you'll feel your skin softness and flexibility begin to return and irritation will fade away.

Dermol 600 Bath Emollient FAQs
Dermol can be used for any conditions which make the skin dry and itchy.
Dermol 200 works by taking advantage of the four main ingredients listed above. These ingredients work together to create a waterproof barrier on the skin’s surface, preventing moisture from being lost and helping your skin retain its moisture. It also acts as an antiseptic, targeting problem bacterium on the skin's surface, and decreasing irritation.
Dermol can be used as a soap substitute or applied directly to the skin as a moisturiser. After you have washed, always make sure to gently pat your body, rather than rubbing it dry, as this will increase irritation.
When using Dermol in conjunction with a bath or shower, take extra care not to slip. It is possible that Dermol might make the bath or shower slipperier than usual.
There are no known negative effects associated with using Dermol and pregnancy or breastfeeding, however if you are worried you should consult with your doctor before use. For more information on potential side effects, please see below.
