Blephasol Eyelid Cleansing Lotion Information
What is Blephasol Eyelid Lotion?
Blephasol Eyelid Lotion is a gentle cleansing formula designed for daily use to remove dirt, impurities, secretions and makeups from the eyelids and surrounding skin. This micellar solution is free from preservatives, detergents and alcohol meaning it is gentle on sensitive skin while also protecting it from irritation caused by cold, sun, sweat, pollen and allergens.
Blephasol is manufactured by Thea Pharmaceuticals and is available as a 100 ml bottle suitable for those that wear contact lenses. It is recommended that you use Blephasol twice a day, applied with a clean makeup pad, to the skin and there is no need to rinse it off afterwards.
How does Blephasol Eyelid Lotion work?
This powerful cleansing lotion is designed for daily use to quickly and efficiently remove dirt, oil, makeup and other impurities from around your eyes and along your lashes. It contains a micellar solution that works by attracting and trapping impurities that are then lifted off the skin.
Blephasol Eyelid Lotion alternatives
Blephasol has undergone thorough testing by dermatologists and ophthalmologists to ensure it effectively removes debris, impurities and grease from the eyelids while protecting sensitive skin.
If you are, however, suffering from blepharitis, a condition that causes inflammation, crusting and itching to the eyelids, dry eyes or an infection, you may find alternative treatments more effective. Alternative treatments available from The Independent Pharmacy include:
- Blephaclean Lid Wipes - (Micellar Solution) to treat blepharitis.
- GoldenEye Drops - (Propamidine Isethionate 0.1%) to treat conjunctivitis and blepharitis.
- Chloramphenicol Eye Ointment - (Chloramphenicol 1%) to treat bacterial conjunctivitis.
