Mycota Information
What is Mycota Cream?
Mycota Cream is a zinc undecylenate and undecylenic acid-based Athlete's Foot treatment and preventative. It is applied daily to the affected areas, taking special care to cover the area between the toes. It quickly targets and kills the fungi and bacteria that cause itching, redness and inflammation leaving your feet feeling more comfortable and looking healthy.
Mycota Cream is manufactured by Thornton and Ross and is available in 25 gram tubes. For best results use Mycota Cream alongside Mycota Powder.
What is Athlete’s Foot?
Athlete’s Foot is a common fungal infection that affects the skin on the feet, usually most significantly between the toes. It is a contagious skin condition that can be spread from person to person and therefore if you have Athlete’s Foot it is important to keep your feet covered when walking in places you share with others. You are more likely to get Athlete’s Foot if you regularly have wet or sweaty feet or your skin is damaged.
Symptoms of Athlete’s Foot include:
- Itchy, white patches between the toes
- Red, sore and flaking skin
- Cracking skin that may bleed
How does Mycota Cream work?
Both the active ingredients, zinc undecylenate, undecylenic acid, included in Mycota Cream are very effective in preventing and treating Athlete’s Foot. They target and kill fungus and any bacteria present on the skin quickly reducing irritating and painful symptoms.
How quickly does Mycota Cream work?
Most people will see and feel a noticeable improvement in the condition of their feet within 10 days of using Mycota Cream. You should continue to use Mycota Cream twice a day for 1 week after all your symptoms have disappeared. This is to ensure you do not become reinfected with the fungus.
Mycota Cream can continue to be applied daily to any vulnerable areas of skin to prevent becoming infected with Athlete’s Foot in the future.
